Indian actress Alia Bhatt has been named as one of the hosts for the upcoming 2026 BAFTA Film Awards, organized by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) and set to occur on February 22.
Alia will be part of a prestigious lineup of global celebrities presenting at the esteemed awards ceremony. Notable figures such as Cillian Murphy, Kate Hudson, Aimee Lou Wood, Bryan Cranston, Gillian Anderson, Glenn Close, Patrick Dempsey, Alicia Vikander, Kerry Washington, Riz Ahmed, and Stormzy are also scheduled to take the stage, among others.
Several nominees, including Ethan Hawke, Michael B Jordan, Emily Watson, and Stellan Skarsgård, are expected to join as presenters during the event.
Alia Bhatt’s participation highlights another important moment for Indian representation at the international awards showcase. Previously, Priyanka Chopra Jonas hosted the BAFTAs in 2021, followed by Deepika Padukone in 2024.
