The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has approved an extension for the No Objection Certificate (NOC) granted to Peshawar Zalmi bowlers Shoriful Islam and Nahid Rana, allowing them to continue their participation in the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) for an additional day.
In an announcement today, the BCB disclosed that the extension was granted in response to requests from Peshawar Zalmi and the Pakistan Cricket Board.
Initially, the NOCs for Shoriful Islam and Nahid Rana were set to expire on April 12, 2026. However, under the new arrangement, both players have been given permission to stay in Pakistan for Peshawar Zalmi’s upcoming PSL match on April 13, 2026.
Peshawar Zalmi, currently leading the points table with four victories in five games, is set to compete against Multan Sultans on Monday.
Both Shoriful Islam and Nahid Rana have been included in the 15-member Bangladesh squad for the first two ODIs of the upcoming three-match series against New Zealand, commencing on April 17.
