“Biman Bangladesh Airlines Welcomes Hajj Pilgrims Home”

Biman Bangladesh Airlines has commenced its post-Hajj flight operations by receiving returning pilgrims from Saudi Arabia with flowers and Zamzam water at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka. The first returning Hajj flight, BG336, carrying pilgrims from Jeddah, touched down at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 10:35 am.

Kaizar Sohel Ahmed, the Managing Director and CEO of Biman Bangladesh Airlines, extended a warm welcome to the pilgrims at the airport. Other officials present included Deputy Managing Director and Deputy CEO Syed Moin Uddin Ahmed, Director Customer Service (Acting) Mohiuddin Ahmed, and Executive Director of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport Group Captain SM Ragib Samad.

Similar reception ceremonies were organized for pilgrims arriving on Saudia flights. Biman facilitated the transportation of 38,679 Bangladeshi pilgrims to Saudi Arabia this year through 98 flights. As part of the post-Hajj program running from May 30 to June 30, Biman aims to bring back approximately 39,650 pilgrims via 106 return flights.

Ensuring safe, timely, and high-quality passenger services during the Hajj return operations is a top priority for Biman as the national flag carrier. The airline urged pilgrims and their families to stay updated on the latest flight schedules and operational information through its call center, respective Hajj agencies, and official website.
