Russia’s defense ministry reported yesterday that 345 Ukrainian drones were shot down in the last 24 hours, and Russian forces have gained control over two villages in eastern Ukraine, according to state media sources. The state-owned RIA news agency stated that the settlements of Pokrovka and Minkivka are now under Russian control. The Kremlin announced that crucial matters, including territorial issues, will be addressed during upcoming peace discussions on Ukraine scheduled to take place in Geneva this week.
