Shikho has rolled out a complimentary course in Bengali focusing on artificial intelligence (AI) targeted at individuals lacking technical expertise. The launch event, held in Dhaka on April 30, saw the participation of government officials, private sector representatives, and development partners. The course, named Think AI, was created in partnership with LightCastle Partners and backed by Meta. Accessible through Shikho’s e-learning platform, the course comprises four modules covering AI basics, the workings of generative tools, responsible usage ethics, and practical skill enhancement pathways.
During the event, discussions revolved around three key goals: disseminating the course via Bangladesh’s current educational channels, fostering cross-industry conversations on AI literacy and digital competencies, and establishing a transferable framework for public-private cooperation in digital upskilling, as per the press release.
