A recent Reuters report revealed that Baidu’s Apollo Go robotaxis faced a major outage in Wuhan, China, leading to passengers being stranded for up to two hours. Authorities labeled the incident as a “system failure,” impacting over 100 self-driving vehicles. The technical glitch resulted in abrupt halts of the vehicles, with some occurrences taking place on busy roads and fast lanes, prompting safety worries.
