The comprehensive two-day program features multiple sessions. The first day saw the participation of ministers, state ministers, and advisers in the morning, while MPs from Rajshahi, Rangpur, Dhaka, and Faridpur attended in the afternoon.
On the following day, MPs from Dhaka district, Mymensingh, and other parts of the Dhaka division will engage in the morning session, followed by lawmakers from Sylhet, Cumilla, and Chattogram in the afternoon.
In the recent 13th parliamentary election, BNP secured 209 seats, including 146 first-time lawmakers. A senior BNP official mentioned that the workshop aims to provide guidance on various parliamentary aspects such as raising points of order, bill drafting and review, active participation in debates, addressing constituency concerns, discussing the president’s address, and ensuring attendance during parliamentary sessions.
