The Pakistan Super League’s technical committee has rejected Fakhar Zaman’s appeal and maintained the two-game suspension given to him for ball tampering, as announced by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Thursday. The PCB had penalized the 35-year-old for two PSL matches earlier in the week following his violation during Lahore Qalandars’ loss to Karachi Kings. Fakhar had contested the decision but the technical committee upheld the ban, stating that under the Code of Conduct, their ruling is final and binding. Consequently, Fakhar will be absent from Lahore’s upcoming matches against Multan Sultans and Islamabad United.
