Bangladesh’s Litton Das will miss the one-off Test against Zimbabwe starting on June 28 in Harare due to injury, as confirmed by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) in a recent announcement. Mahidul Islam Ankon has been selected as his replacement for the upcoming match.
Litton was absent from the T20I series against Australia in Chattogram due to a calf injury. After a thorough evaluation by the BCB medical team, it was decided that he would not recover in time for the Test match. His availability for the subsequent three ODIs and three T20Is is still uncertain.
A group of 15 players and support staff has already departed for Zimbabwe, with a second group of 13 set to leave on June 24.
