Acclaimed artist Mosharraf Karim has returned to Bangladesh following his pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia and has promptly delved into work on two fresh TV dramas under the direction of Sagar Jahan.

Mosharraf arrived back in the country on February 11 after a ten-day stay in Saudi Arabia alongside his wife, Robena Reza Jui. Shortly after his homecoming, filming for the projects “Soda Shotto Bolibo” and “Adu Bhai” commenced on February 15.

Expressing his joy at reuniting with Sagar Jahan after an extended period, Mosharraf reminisced about their past collaborations. He shared, “It’s been some time since I collaborated with Sagar Jahan. Many fond memories are flooding back. I find pleasure in the work. Observing the director’s satisfaction during filming, I also feel content working with him.”

“Soda Shotto Bolibo”, penned by Ashraful Chanchal, stars Aisha Khan opposite Mosharraf Karim. The drama is slated to be part of NTV’s Eid special lineup.

Detailing the plot, Mosharraf described the drama as a portrayal of the authentic and straightforward love story of a sincere man. “It’s a narrative of pure love. Aisha Khan is performing excellently as my co-actor. I always relish being part of Sagar Jahan’s projects. This one is shaping up nicely as well. I hope the audience will reminisce about the old essence,” he added.

Furthermore, director Sagar Jahan affirmed that filming for “Adu Bhai” is set for today and tomorrow. In this drama too, Aisha Khan stars opposite Mosharraf Karim. The script, crafted by Arko Mostafa, promises a comedic storyline. The drama is scheduled for broadcast on a private TV channel during Eid.
